Weekly Farmers Market
Waipā farmers market happens EVERY TUESDAY from 2pm-dusk.
Featuring local vendors offering fresh and mostly organic veggies, fruits, flowers and a variety of foods and crafts.

Eat the Invasives
Launched in 2016 as a partnership between Kona Brewing Hawaii and the Waipā Foundation, MAKANA Waipā: Eat The Invasives has become our most anticipated and significant fundraising event.
It has grown into a unique culinary journey that celebrates mindful mea`ai, local ingredients, aloha for abundant healthy ‘āina and the beloved space and community that Waipā has cultivated.
Chefs from Hawaiʻi pae`āina work with our team of hunters, fishers, and foragers, staff and community volunteers to prepare delicious culinary creations highlighting invasive species threatening our `āina.
This bi-annual gala event provides valuable support to our youth programs, ‘aina education, internship programs, ‘aina stewardship and food justice.

Annual Festivals & Craft Fair SIGN UPWaipa hosts one festival annually in the month of May called ‘Aina Festival. ‘Aina translates literally to land or earth but the word ‘aina can be used to describe all that which feeds. This festival is a day for us to connect with our community and celebrates the many ways we are fed by the land, music, food, culture and one another. Hosted at the Halulu Fish Pond on Hanalei Bay, the festival features live music, hands-on activities, and a variety of local food, farm, and artisan vendors. E hele mai, all are welcome. Entry fees collected at the gate help to support the foundation's work.
The annual Christmas Craft Fair is typically held the second Sunday in December. In combination with our week market vendors we welcome local artists, farmers and food producers to share their specialties in celebration of the holiday season.
